July 2019 saw Ms Shehela Pervin, Superintendent of Police (Admin &
Finance), Railway Police Headquarter &
Country Focal Point of LEAHN Bangladesh, chair a program jointly organised by LEAHN, Community Forum of Bangladesh, and UNAIDS Bangladesh.

Although the major objective of the program was to highlight the intersection of Law Enforcement and Public Health, including HIV prevention, there was a strong emphasis on upholding human rights principles, and positivity attitudes in moving forward. In her closing remarks Ms Pervin stressed the need for a changed mind set and urged participants to become more positive. It was suggested that similar programs convene in other divisions within the country.
